This is the year of the supreme sounding 45 tube. This is the second amp in a series of 45 tube amps.
It features Jack Elliano’s Electra Print output transformers with partially silver secondary. It plays in good synergy with the 45 tube. The driver is either E280F or D3a. It is a capacitor coupled to the power stage.
The amplifier has 3 inputs and all Cardas RCA and binding posts. The volume pot is a TKD CP-2511.
The power supply uses a Hashimoto power transformer. The high voltage supply uses a tube rectifier (GZ34, 5AR4, 422a and equivalents) followed by a CLCLC filtering. Caps are film and Mundorf HV+ a 4 pole. All filaments are DC powered.
The 45 and driver are operating in self-biased mode. All components are carefully selected and of high audio quality.
My favorite combination was using 45 globes, Siemens E280F and Mullard 5AR4.
